Family studio portrait – Courtenay

This was such a fun studio portrait session. I first met Janet and her mum thirty years ago. It was really fun to catch up and meet her brother and his partner. We spent most of our time joking and laughing up a storm, you can’t beat the east coast humour boy. The secret to photographing on a black background is to use separation lights, those from behind. I see so many new photographers trying this and failing, you end up with the floating head! These are printed up as a Canvas Wall Art Collection and they look awesome, I’m looking forward to helping hang these up this week!
